If you are looking for a convenient way to escape crappy mainstream radio, meditate, calm down, relax your mind, self-reflect, learn and all the while be entertained, I will ALWAYS recommend listening to podcasts. Right now, I am subscribed to almost 100 podcasts and I absolutely love them all. It is probably one of my most healthiest and productive pastimes. Podcasts help me to not only develop better coping skills with life and my mental illnesses, but to also find my center, to find my inner peace and to maintain them until it becomes second nature in my life.
I’m sure you are wondering: what podcast can help me with that? If you have not heard of her, or are not already a listener, I recommend none other than the podcast, “Mindful Living – Spiritual Awakening,”with Marijo Puleo, PhD. (CLICK THE TITLE WHICH DIRECTS YOU TO THE SITE).
I’ve only been subscribed to her channel for a few weeks, but the wealth of knowledge and peace that her messages cover me with are amazingly helpful. She is relatable in terms of sharing her personal life and journey, discussing career successes, setbacks and her own internal challenges as well. She describes how she came to grow through meditation, and how it has helped to shape her life today.
You can listen to all her episodes on any podcast mobile app, or just by clicking the link: https://mindfullivingspiritualawakening.libsyn.com/ on her website.
I hope this helps you guys get through today, tomorrow and each day moving forward. It’s the small things that make a huge difference when times are tough, especially when battling life, and/or mental illness at the same time. Let this little gem (podcast) be a light that shines bright for YOU.
